DESCRIPTION
The practice was appointed by Gardens of Peace Muslim Cemetery Trust to revise designs and implement the 3rd phase of a masterplan scheme for the expansion of burial space at this greenbelt site.
The brief was for provision of a new circulatory pedestrian & vehicular routes, lighting and planting layouts and design for a rest area integral to the new public realm.
The character of this cemetery set within a SNCI is enhanced by the careful selection of planting and creation of wild flower meadows that gives seasonal interest throughout the year.
